Adjustable LiftersThe wait is finally over, lightweight, hollow, adjustable lifters are now available! This completely new design solves an age old problem of being able to adjust the clearance between the lifter and the valve quickly and easily. To adjust the clearance it is recommended to drill a 3/16" hole 3/4" down from the top of the lifter bore and insert a 5/32" pin punch or similar to hold the lifter. For some applications this will be impractical, so the valve and the guide only should be installed, the clearance checked , the valve removed and the lifter raised up enough to fit the pin punch resting it on top of the lifter bore to adjust and then the valve reinstalled.
